Ironsides Players A diverse and committed group of men The men who make up Boston Ironsides come from wildly varying backgrounds both on the field and off. We have players just out of college as well as seasoned rugby veterans. Some of our members have been playing rugby for years, while others have only just started. Executive Board Managing the team First and foremost, Boston Ironsides is a team devoted to the sport of rugby — but not everything can be accomplished during practices and games. In Our Community Helping to make a difference Boston Ironsides RFC is a member of PrideSports Boston, an association of gay and lesbian sports clubs that aims to promote athletics for traditionally under-represented men and women. We also participate in public outreach programs and local and regional charities.
