About Me: I grew up on a farm in Oregon and have been on the east coast for the past 9 years; moving back and forth between New York, Provincetown and Boston. A Bartender by trade, I occasionally grace the stage in Provincetown and Boston under an assumed identity (i.e. female character), and studied Playwrighting at NYU. I currently live in Cambridge with my French-Bulldog/Beagle mix named Damien.

What does playing rugby with the IRONSIDES mean to me?:
I think playing rugby has allowed me to embrace my inner athlete in a world that doesn't always want or expect gay men to be athletes. I think it's also given me a sense of community and pride that I couldn't have gotten otherwise.

What would I say to someone thinking of joining?:
Abandon all fear of injury, fear of physical inadequacy and fear of hard work. It doesn't matter if you've never played a sport before, if you're wiling to focus and commit yourself Rugby is one of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever Have. On the field we're a band of brothers; off the field we're your most fun friends.
