About Me:
I'm originally from WV/VA, lived in NYC and DC but have been in the Boston area for about 7 years now. I'm an executive at an internet company in downtown Boston but live half way to Providence, RI. I love hiking, reading (mainly history non-fiction), cooking, travel, walks on the beach at sunset, pina coladas, and saving the whales. I'm just an average dude making his way through life and trying to have as much fun and share his experiences with as many people as possible.

Favourite Rugby Moment:
We were playing a tough, very muddy game against Mad River in the Fall and one of their players decided it would be a good idea to hold on to me a little too long after a ruck. Needless to say words were exchanged in a semi-heated fashion. Despite this guy being at least twice my size and quite possibly a witch doctor/soul eater, the next chance I got I put him down in the mud and used him like a counter to push myself back up. If you ever want to know what Boston mud tastes like, ask that guy.
What does playing rugby with the IRONSIDES mean to me?:
Having the best time of my life with some of the greatest guys I've ever known. Not to be overly dramatic, but rugby changed my life. I've never been as happy as I am at practice and games with the Ironsides. No matter what happens I'll never forget what this club has done for me.
What would I say to someone thinking of joining?:
Come to a practice at the very least and give it a shot. I talk to people all the time who say they are interested but worry that they couldn't keep up or wouldn't be aggressive enough or aren't the right size and I always tell them to come out and try, there is a place for everyone on the pitch which is one of the amazing things about rugby. Also, the Ironsides are without a doubt some of the best people I've ever met. If you are looking for 30+ new brothers, come join us!
