About Me:
I'm one of the "Rhodies" — Grew up in RI but spent some years in the hills of Ithaca, NY and the beaches of Ft Lauderdale before returning. My favorite places are still anywhere I can feel green grass or warm sand under my bare feet. I prefer Guinness over Bud, cats over dogs, purple over orange, and rugby over all other sports. I read, I cook, I draw, I rugg. (Is that a word? To rugg: v. To play rugby, to be a rugger). Also, I like to make up my own words.

What does playing rugby with the IRONSIDES mean to me?:
IAfter a lifetime of avoiding sports, I found one I love. As an Ironside I'm doing something I'd never considered, pushing myself and improving myself in ways I didn't imagine, with a team of committed, supportive, driven, interesting, fun and funny guys.
What would I say to someone thinking of joining?:
Stop thinking and take the plunge. You won't regret it.
