About Me:
Born and raised in Mass, I received a BS in Engineering at Umass Amherst. After college I spent a couple of years based in Rhode Island while working in Europe. Finally settled down in the Boston area and waited far too long to start playing Rugby.

Joining the team in 2006, I was there to witness our Bowl win at Bingham NY. I soon became involved in the executive board and was one of the handful of Ironsides players that supported Bennington Equinox (now Battle) when the Ironsides couldn't field it's own team and Bennington was just starting up.

I'm proud to see the Ironsides have re-built stronger than before and I look forward to seeing where the new blood takes us.

How long I have been playing:
6 years.

Favourite Rugby Moment:
Winning the Bingham Bowl. It was an intensely emotional experience for the entire team. I had never felt anything like it before.

What does playing rugby with the IRONSIDES mean to me?:
Playing with the Ironsides has given me the chance to play sports that I passed up in high school. It has also given me a greater appreciation for fitness than simply lifting weights ever could..

What would I say to someone thinking of joining?:
Do it! Rugby is the best sport I have ever played. Every player on the pitch is a full participant in the game - there's never a boring moment ( yeah, I'm looking at you, softball) and you will challenge your body as you never have before.

The Ironsides is a great team that has brought together a great group of people that are constantly improving at rugby. We have as much fun off the pitch as on.
