Boston Ironsides welcomes assistance from any businesses who would like to enrich their community by supporting our team. Interested parties or businesses can support us in many ways: services, discounts, direct cash donations, through the donation of equipment and/or organizational space, and corporate sponsorships. We also welcome possibilities for limited marketing partnerships. We are a federally-recognized 501c3 non-profit organization, so all donations are tax-deductible.

The Alley Bar
The Alley Bar is "Boston's Newest gay-owned neighborhood bar." The Alley has welcomed Boston Ironsides RFC into their establishment, and is the home of our many (in)famous drink-ups. The Alley is located one block from Government Center; and is open 7 days a week until 2 am. www.thealleybar.com

Fritz
Fritz is located in the heart of the South End which makes it convenient to many shops, restaurants and several other bars in the area. On the weekends, Fritz serves one of the most popular brunches in the area.

Fritz, "Boston's Gay Sports Bar", plays every Red Sox and Patriots game on their six plasma screens, so you always have a front row seat. www.fritzboston.com

The Stable
The Stable is Providence's newest addition to gay nightlife, featuring premier cocktails, friendly bartenders, billiards, and the occasional independent live music show. Located on Washington Street in Downcity Providence near Trinity Rep and City Hall, the Stable combines the feeling of a neighborhood pub with a cosmopolitan city nightspot.

The Stable is the Ironsides' home bar in Providence, so come out and say hello—you're likely to find several players on a Sunday evening kitted up and ready to recruit you! The Stable on Facebook

It takes a significant amount of money to operate a rugby team—far more than can be raised by member dues and boosters alone. This is especially true for 2012. The Ironsides will be travelling to Manchester, U.K. as one of about thirty rugby union clubs to compete in the Bingham Cup, the World Championship of gay and inclusive rugby, and the largest men's 15s rugby union tournament outiside of the IRB Rugby World Cup.

This is a huge logistical and financial undertaking and represents the pinnacle of competition for athletes who are neither professional nor Olympic-level. Ask anyone who has participated; it's a life-changing experience.
