What does being an Ironside mean to you?
BIRFC taught me that there is a position for every player, body type, and athlete - and that above all else, we are one team - on and off the pitch. To me, BIRFC means bringing my whole self to everything I do, with the humility to know that my success depends on those around me: the other 14 teammates on the pitch, teams at work, family, or anyone else in it with me.
What is your favorite memory of being on the team?
Taking the photo with the Remix team after playing all day on Randall's Island NYC with the skyline behind us. It was only my second match, but I knew right then I was hooked.
What is a guilty pleasure of yours?
Talenti gelato of any flavor (...the only Tupperware in my house are old Talenti containers...).
What are your other hobbies besides rugby?
Recently got my keelboat/sailing certification. So if you wanna see the actual Old Ironsides from the Harbor, lmk...
What is your favorite comfort food?
Chicken parmesan. My life is a constant hunt for the best chicken parm. Send me your favorites!
