What does being an Ironside mean to you?
Being an Ironside is more than just being a rugby player, it means being part of a family and support system. There are good days and bad days, but you help the family and the family, in turn, helps you.
What is one thing being on the team has changed for you?
I struggled with the question of who I wanted to be versus being told who I should be. The Ironsides definitely helped me explore that while playing rugby. Through many learning and growing experiences, I am definitely more confident and determine to be the best version of me EVERYDAY and help others, like me, seek their own answers and truths.
What is the coolest thing you've ever done?
One the coolest things I have ever done was to go Bingham 2014 in Sidney, Australia. Traveling with the team, stopping in Fuji for R&R, playing grueling rugby for 3 days, and touring the city after it was over are memories I will cherish for a lifetime.
Tell us a secret!
Took 2 girls to my high school prom. Had one girl dressed in baby blue and the other dresses in baby pink, while I was dressed in white. Coordinated to leave the prom with 2 more girls in my limo. While this made for an epic story in high school, this also provided cover for a secret that no one would suspect and I wasn't ready to explore.
What are your other hobbies besides rugby?
Music composition, traveling, and power lifting.
